For a long time I hadn’t wanted to buy cubic zerconia rings because I thought they looked cheap and fake. And really, the CZ rings that were out for sale many years ago did look cheap. The settings were thin and cheap looking and didn’t look like the heavy settings in a jewelry store. Everyone would know you were wearing cubic zirconia ring just from the setting alone.
Now cubic zirconia rings are in settings that look like you’d find in a nice jewelry store. It is really hard to tell a real diamond from a diamond alternative like zirconia. Which is nice because CZ rings are so much cheaper than diamond rings. I’d rather get an amazing ring that looks real for under $50! If you want higher quality settings then the ring could cost as much as $300. There were some CZ rings that floored me with how expensive and real they looked. I thought they were diamond rings even though I knew I was looking at cubic zerconia rings. It’s amazing how much better they’ve gotten in a decade or more.

I love the designer inspired rings at Birkat Elyon. This ring is amazing. I have admired it for many months. I swear if this were a diamond ring you’d be looking at several thousand dollars. A high dollar amount. You can get this ring for less than one thousand. That’s what just amazes me. The setting is thick and heavy and doesn’t look cheap at all. No one will believe that it’s a cubic zerconia ring and that’s why we buy them! We want the expensive luxury look on a budget. And who cares if it’s not real diamond?
